**Canada Revenue Agency considers fees paid to a private Speech-Language Pathologist to be a tax-deductible medical expense. Speech therapy services are also GST exempt.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

$130 per hour

GROUP THERAPY (must be negotiated with SLP)

$65 per person per hour (2-4 clients)

$50 per person per hour (5-8 clients)

FORMAL ASSESSMENT  (see Evaluation under Services)

*Depending on the severity of the communication difficulties and the client’s willingness to participate, the assessment may be completed in one visit or it may require a few sessions to complete. We will always strive to complete the assessment as quickly as clinical thoroughness allows. Assessment sessions are always at least 60 min in length.

REPORTING (see also “Formal Assessment” under SERVICES):

You may want a report to qualify for public or private funding for services, to generate a report for insurance and/or medical reasons or to inform teachers and employers of communication issues. Costs are as follows (please keep in mind that these costs are in addition to the cost of assessment listed above):

• Short summaries or brief notes to teachers, doctors, etc.:    30-65$
• Formal reports, letters, inter-professional communication:           $130 per hour
